The latest Junior Eurovision news comes from Azerbaijan, a nation that has participated at Junior Eurovision only twice before, with the latest participation back in 2013. This year they are back, and now we know who will be representing Azerbaijan!
Broadcaster ITV has revealed that Fidan Huseynova will be representing Azerbaijan. Fidan was internally selected by the broadcaster, and despite being just 11 years old, Fidan has been a prominent figure in Azerbaijan’s singing culture.
She will take to the Eurovision stage with some incredible experiences under her belt, including having performed with former Eurovision entrant Lara Fabian, and Fidan has also won a scholarship presented by the President of Azerbaijan.
